psD是为上海当代艺术博物馆改造的一个多功能设计中心。改造设计聚焦在临街一侧的界面。我们把这片由相对封闭的玻璃幕墙立面与停车位组成的区域，打造成“商家比邻的城市街道”。吸引及鼓励更多的人聚集于此或稍作停留，体验近距离的城市艺术生活。这些担任工作坊，商店，咖啡馆等功能的盒子“店面”，同时也是走进博物馆的通道，人们由此通过在设计中心中停留，或看展览、参加工作坊， 或买东西、喝咖啡。若要走向博物馆纵深，欢迎穿过“推拉折叠平开门”继续他们的艺术之旅。
项目完成的第一个展览是非常建筑的泛设计展——“建筑之名”，展示非常建筑全方位的建筑及泛设计实践及研究成果。展场中所用的展陈装置及家具、产品、服装等亦为非常建筑设计，展陈装置多数可以在展览后拆分重组，成为博物馆中灵活的永久家具。
psD (power station of Design) of PSA (Power Station of Art)
FCJZ was asked to redesign a portion on the ground floor of the PSA to create a Power Station of Design or psD, design center within the art museum. The emphasis of our design is on the interface between the museum and the street, an interface populated with shops with a purpose to attract people to enter the museum through these “storefronts,” and stop off in the design center, either to appreciate an ongoing exhibition, to shop or to drink a cup of coffee, before they proceed toward the depths of the museum, the destination of their journey of art. The first exhibition held in this new project, In the Name of Architecture reveals recent architectural designs by Atelier FCJZ and its pan-design practice. Also designed by the firm, most of the display furniture used in the venue can be disassembled later and reorganized to become the museum’s permanent pieces of furniture.
